The Day Walk for March took place a in one of the quieter areas of Scotland, yet only half an hour from Perth. Four members easily ascended the Marilyn Creag na Criche, NN 98600 35086, from Little Glenshee, then set off NE along broad ridges to climb Craig Gibbon, NO 00911 37436. No time for blethering, the group start off again along the ridge to Craig Gibbon, where the promise of lunch at some fancy obelisk awaited them!

As can be seen they lunched in bright sunshine beside the obelisk that distinguishes Craig Gibbon. The views across Eastern Perthshire to the Tay were fabulous. They then dropped south on return tracks to skirt Loch Tullybellton returning to the vehicles after about 5 hours, 15km travelled, and an easy 328m overall ascent. A buzzard and many deer were observed, completing a very enjoyable day out.
